This piece of news caught my attention because it was really dramatic not just for those people who were living there, but also for those who have an acquaintance or a relative there.
Thanks to global communication systems, we could all realize what was happening in japan instantly; also we could see the TV programs with several videos and images to show us how bad was that.
After all this time the repercussions of this catastrophe could be seen until now. Although japan government fix a lot of thing very quickly (streets, hospitals, and so one), there are a lot of people with many things to do to recover their past life, just like here in Chile. But the high thing here is the nuclear plants in danger; those plants were in real danger for about 3 month. So in my opinion that was the issue to make this news one of the most news of the year, the problems to the ordinary people and the problems that could be a problem for the country because of those plants.

ResponderEliminarYou has mentioned something very important that most of us have already forgotten, I'm talking about nuclear plants. As you said it's about our planet and of course, concern us. Personally I feel that it is a discussion that is unfinished and we must do it, not only because the situation in Japan, for the enviroment in our country too, companies are abusing of our natural sources just to get more and more money, and because of the ambition of their owners.This situation is totally unacceptable.
